This is the first episode in a week-long series in honor of Dorothy Davis. These recordings are segments of an audio-taped interview conducted more than 11 years ago. Originally, I had given my grandmother a book called "Grandma, Tell Me Your Memories". She had only filled out a few pages before the interview, but we used her answers as a jumping-off point. Grandma liked to talk about the old days.
